President William Ruto has acknowledged growing frustration among young Kenyans over unemployment, taxation, the rising cost of living and the pace of change, saying his administration must remain accountable to citizens.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Speaking during the 2026 Mashujaa Day celebrations at Kipchoge Keino Stadium in Eldoret, Uasin Gishu County, on Tuesday, October 20, Ruto recognised the right of Kenyans to question government decisions and demand better services.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
