Tragedy in Meru as Two-Year-Old Girl Drowns in Bucket.

A two-year-old girl has died after drowning in a bucket outside her familyβs home in Ituli Village, Kabachi Location, Mutuati Sub-County, Meru County. The tragic incident has left the family mourning the loss of the young child.
The toddler was reportedly under the care of her grandmother when the incident occurred. According to reports, the grandmother had briefly left the house to visit a nearby shop.
The child was at home when the incident happened, with the circumstances surrounding how she ended up in the bucket still unclear. Police have since launched investigations to establish what led to the toddlerβs death.
Police officers visited the scene and documented the incident as part of the initial investigations. Their findings are expected to help establish the circumstances surrounding the tragedy.
Following the incident, the childβs body was moved to Nyambene Sub-County Hospital mortuary, where it is being preserved ahead of further examination.
A postmortem examination is expected to be conducted to establish the exact cause of the girlβs death. Police investigations into the incident are ongoing.
