A man has found himself in serious trouble after making a costly decision regarding a financial mistake. His actions have quickly landed him behind bars.

The man, who has been identified as Biggie wa Deals, faced arrest following a police operation. The trouble began after a businessman mistakenly sent him KSh 43,320 via M-Pesa.

Instead of returning the cash to its rightful owner, the man chose a dishonest path. He decided to keep the money for himself.

To avoid being tracked down, he quickly turned off his phone. He even removed his SIM card and completely disappeared from his usual spots.

However, law enforcement officers did not give up on the case. Investigations eventually led detectives straight to a local club.

Officers found him relaxing and enjoying himself at the venue. It turned out he had already spent the wrongly sent money on a good time.

The suspect was promptly taken into police custody following the discovery. He is currently locked up and awaiting court proceedings to face his charges.

Following this incident, the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) has issued a stern warning to Kenyans. They reminded the public that keeping or spending money sent by mistake is a crime that leads to criminal charges.
