Kenya U23 Defender Baron Ochieng Joins KCB FC on Free Transfer.

Kenya Under-23 right-back Baron Ochieng has reportedly joined KCB FC as a free agent, marking a new chapter in his football career.

The 20-year-old defender joins the Kenyan Premier League side as he looks to continue developing his career and gain more playing opportunities.

Ochieng previously played for Egyptian giants Zamalek SC, whom he joined in September 2025 after an impressive spell with Kenyan side Sofapaka FC.

Before moving to Egypt, the defender had established himself as a promising young player in Kenyan football through his performances in domestic competitions.

He also represented Kenya at the 2025 Under-20 Africa Cup of Nations in Egypt, where he served as the team’s assistant captain.His performances at youth level earned him recognition and opportunities with Kenya’s national teams, including a call-up to the senior Harambee Stars squad.

The reported move to KCB FC would give Ochieng another opportunity to showcase his defensive abilities while competing in Kenya’s top football league.

The defender will be hoping to make an impact at his new club as he continues working towards securing a regular place in the national team.
