Detectives Investigate Mysterious Death of Kenyan-French Man in Karen

According to initial reports, police found him lying in a pool of blood with a gunshot wound to the head. Investigators also noted an unexplained scratch on the left side of his abdomen, raising questions about the circumstances surrounding his death. Officers who examined the scene recovered a Glock 17 pistol containing 14 rounds of ammunition.

Two additional magazines containing a further 30 rounds and one spent cartridge were also reportedly found at the residence.The items have become part of the evidence being examined as detectives seek to establish what happened before Roomoguere was found dead.

Although the incident was initially recorded at Hardy Police Station as a suspected suicide, investigators have not yet conclusively established how the fatal shooting occurred. Roomoguere’s body was later transferred to Lee Funeral Home, where a postmortem examination is expected to help establish the cause and circumstances of his death.
