Six killed in tragic accident along Eldoret-Nakuru Highway

At least six people have died and several others sustained injuries following a road accident at Kondoo area along the Eldoret-Nakuru Highway.

The accident occurred on Saturday morning after a lorry rammed into a public service vehicle (PSV) travelling towards Nakuru. The lorry reportedly attempted to avoid an oncoming Succeed vehicle before colliding with the PSV.

Uasin Gishu County Police Commander Wilberforce Sicharani confirmed the incident, revealing that the PSV driver was among those who lost their lives.

The injured victims were rushed to different health facilities for treatment, while the bodies of the deceased were taken to Moi Teaching and Referral Hospital mortuary in Eldoret.
